Before you start
You need an invitation link from me. Links expire after a few days, so ask for a new one if yours has stopped working.
Signing up
- Open the invitation link.
- Enter your email address and press Continue.
- Pick a username — lowercase, no spaces. This can’t be changed later. Your first name is fine.
- Enter a password twice. Short or common passwords will be rejected.
- Press Create account.
Write the password down.
I can reset it, but I can’t look it up.
Two-step sign-in
After your password, this asks for a six-digit code from your phone. Optional, but worth doing. Takes about a minute.
- Install an authenticator app on your phone. Google Authenticator is the easiest to find.
- In that app, tap +, then Scan a QR code.
- Point your phone at the square barcode on screen.
- Type the six-digit code the app shows into the website and press Confirm.
Codes expire every thirty seconds.
If yours is rejected, wait for the next one.
Signing in
Go to auth.adamtibbetts.com, or open the service you want and it will send you there.
Some services move you to auth.adamtibbetts.com to ask for your password, then put you back where you started. That is meant to happen — see signing in to Mealie, where it is most noticeable.
Locked out
Message me. Repeated wrong attempts lock the account for a while, which makes it slower to fix.
